The Global Institute for Skills Excellence (GISE) was founded to close the gap between classroom theory and what engineering employers actually need: people who can build, ship and troubleshoot real systems from day one.

We started GISE in Nairobi with a simple belief: engineering and technology skills are best learned by building real things, under the guidance of people who build them professionally. Since our first cohort, we've grown into a multi-discipline academy spanning software, data, electrical, civil, mechanical and cybersecurity engineering.
Every course is designed with input from practicing engineers and hiring partners, so what you learn in week one is still relevant on your first day at work.
